# Grading in Auburn, AL

[Website](https://auburnbushhogging.com/services/grading/)

We cut high spots, spread suitable soil and fill agreed low areas on already-cleared ground. Our Auburn grading work shapes access and planned drainage; vegetation removal is a separate scope. Elevations, fill, compaction and the required finish are agreed first.

- Shape already-cleared ground to agreed elevations.
- Spread suitable material and plan where water will go.
- Define fill, compaction and finish before moving soil.

## How We Shape the Ground

We start with your elevations and drainage plan. A compact track loader with a grading attachment, dozer or other suitable machine cuts and spreads soil. Fill type, compaction and the final surface are agreed up front. An engineered building pad needs its own specifications and checks.

## Rolling Ground, Clay Subsoil and Drainage

Auburn sits near the transition between Piedmont and Coastal Plain landscapes. Sandy or loamy surface layers can give way to clay-rich subsoil, and creek-side ground can stay soft. We inspect the actual soil, slope and runoff routes before shaping it. Rough grading is separate from an engineered building pad.

## Pricing

Starting at $2,500 per project. Final pricing depends on access, vegetation, ground conditions and the agreed work.
